This is a printed paper knitting pattern. A simple, sweet, lacy edge design with generous sizing to get maximum use from the size you have knitted - positive ease is around 5cm. Body is knitted in garter stitch and is an easy knit for beginners. Cardigan is knitted in one piece up until the armholes Hat has two options to choose from, either fold up or a flat band Ages – approximate: 3-6m, 6-12m, 1-2yr, 3-4yr, 5-6yr Finished garment chest: 50(56, 60, 65, 70) cm Back length: 27(30, 33, 37, 41) cm Sleeve length: 17(20, 23, 26, 29) cm Yarn 8ply 50gm/100m 109y: 3(4, 5, 6, 7) balls Hat circumference: 35(40, 45, 49, 54) cm Style A - Flat band: 1(1, 2, 2, 2) balls Style B - Fold back band: 1(2, 2, 2, 2) balls Samples knitted in DMC Woolly & Touch Yarns Merino 8Ply Needles: 4mm Straight needles or circular with 60/80cm 24”/32’ cord. Hat only - 4.00mm & 3.50mm needles or alternatively 3.25mm for the smaller needle Other Requirements: 6 x Stitch holders, plus 13-16 stitch ring markers, 8-13 locking stitch markers, spare yarn may be used for all the markers. 4x 15-20mm buttons for cardigan.
