Gretsch used their time-tested production techniques to preserve the true color and texture of the natural maple outer veneer, giving this snare drum a neutral look that will compliment any drum kit. The 6-ply North American maple/poplar shell is cut to a 30 bearing edge and sealed on the interior with Silver Sealer, then topped with 302 double-flange hoops and heads by Remo USA.This model features a Lightning throw-off and butt plate.
